At this point, you should be decently far into your book. So tell me about it. What is the plot of the book? The overarching purpose?
Remember, in order to gain full marks, there needs to be evidence that you are reading in class. If you write a response and I have failed to see you read during the given time, you forfeit the marks. Your answer should be in full sentences, with a 4 sentence minimum. My book is about a group of people who are all connected in different way whether it be sisters, friends, or boyfriends and girlfriends. So far we have been introduced to all of their lives and things that have happened in the past that have affected them. The roles switch every few pages and change to a different person so the perception is different. For example Grace hates guns because her father died from them but people like Silas like them and thinks Mexicans should be shot since that’s what drove his family apart. The main idea of the book is who's going to use a gun first to shoot someone in there life, at this point of the book I have no idea who will kill someone first. It could be an unexpected person in the book like Grace or someone who has wanted to use guns since the beginning of the book like Silas.

My book is about a double narrative between a girl and boy, going through everlasting and changing feelings for each other. The girl starts out liking the boy, and over time obsessing about him, while the boy tries every way to avoid her. After numerous faults by the boy, by throwing away the girl's farm eggs she gives him and making fun about her disabled uncle, she slowly realizes he is more than the sum of his parts, but her answer is not what she thought. However, the boy over time starts to show long hidden feelings for the girl and starts to get really confused about what he sees in her, especially after what he's done. And the following school event, a basket boys auction fundraiser, is the time in which the boys feelings come loose and show for the whole world to see, but the girl never thought her dreams would happen. They weren't dreams anymore.

In my book a boy wakes up in the hospital paralyzed. A girl had been in the hospital awhile and knew the earlier person in his place. Eventually he passed and the new boy came in. The girl begins to read books to him and become his friend. His parents stop showing up so often so he feels very lonely. That’s all I’ve read so far🤙🏻

My book is a collection of 12 short stories written by Rick Riordan. Each story is about an Ancient Greek hero. They are told through the perspective of Percy Jackson, who is another character in Rick Riordan’s books. Each story describes the situation that made that hero famous. The one I have enjoyed so far is Theseus killing the Minotaur in the Labyrinth.

I started reading the Face on the Milk Carton by Caroline B. Cooney. So far I have met the main character Janie Jhonston. One day while in the cafeteria eating lunch with her friends, she notices that one of the milk cartons, herself as a younger kid is on the missing child report. She instantly starts questioning herself thinking she’s crazy and questioning her parents. She doesn’t tell anyone about this but decides to try and find the answer herself. When looking in the attic she finds a box with Hannah written on it. She opens it to find graded papers and the dress that the girl on the milk carton was wearing.she then asks her parents about Hannah and the tell her that Hannah was her real mom that got out in a cult so they took in Janie and raised her. So Janie finds out that her parents are actually her grandparents

The book I started this week was Me Before You by Jojo Moyes. The story follows a young woman working as a care assistant for a disabled man only a few years her senior. The book follows their story of depression, love, and as I'm nearing the end, suicide. It helped me understand free will and ultimately how suicide affects not only the person leaving this world but everyone fortunate enough to have known the individual.

In class I’ve been reading hunger games catching fire. In the book Katniss is at her house while her mom tells her to go in the one room. When she goes in this room president snow is sitting there waiting for katiniss to come. While they sit there they talk about how Katniss is not believable when saying she’s in love with Peeta so she needs to make it believable

The book "Ashes, Ashes" by Jo Treggiari is about Lucy, a girl who lost everyone she cared about through natural causes such as droughts, floods, and smallpox. Lucy is forced to live outside in Central Park by herself where she has to scavenge for food and survive the harsh nights while the weather continues to get worse. This book is a dystopian novel set in New York.

I’ve been reading the book Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare. ( I didn’t have a book so I read ahead in Romeo and Juliet ). The plot of the book is that there is an argument between two families, the Montague and Capulets, but two people from each families fall in love. In the end they both die, what a surprise. The whole thing was a massive misunderstanding.

The book Release by Patrick Ness is a wonderful novel following 2 characters who connect in the end over a Rose. The main character Adam is struggling with his families beliefs on him being gay and him trying to find the love for his new boyfriend when he is still stuck on his ex. The queen (the other character) is dead. Which can be really hard to explain, but her boyfriend killed her “by accident” and then she wakes up soaked on the side of a lake with bricks in her pockets. She becomes this powerful overcoming person who is going to go solve what she should have done before.

Jonas was assigned last but that’s because he got a big job he was given the job of the giver the giver is someone who can see colours hear noises others can’t and can see anything they want while controlling the society Jonas has been learning the role and on how to do what he has to do best he is not aloud to tell anyone about his training because it is top secrecy nobody can know what the giver does when he or she is working. A new giver is called up when the current giver is getting old and wants to be “released” to a better place Jonas has and is learning lots of things about how to be the best giver that there is.
